Booking Kate (The Coordination Company) was hands down the best decision I made throughout the wedding planning from the beginning. Since I had gotten engaged, wedding planning was something I had put off and in some ways dreaded having to do or even think about. When I made the decision to hire Kate to help plan our wedding, things changed completely for me. The process became fun, inspiring, and allowed me to relieve myself of the stress and anxiety that I had previously felt with wedding planning. What once was a seemingly daunting task turned into not only an amazing experience but it also brought me, someone, I now consider being one of my closest friends! Throughout the whole process, Kate was ALWAYS available and super responsive whenever I reached out to her with questions, concerns, and new ideas. She was always flexible and made time for me even if it was last minute. Most people would consider me one of the most indecisive (and creatively controlling) people and planning a wedding was no different. We had changed our venue location two times, changed our colors more than I can count, went between different designs almost every week, and VERY last minute ended up changing both our wedding entertainment & our ceremony location. Each step of the way Kate supported my dreams, ideas, and bizarre requests while always keeping me within the means of our budget. We planned our wedding for about a year and a half and so when the day finally came, part of me didn't even know what to expect but at this point, I had trusted Kate and our vendor team 100%. From the timeline cards she hands out to guests at the rehearsal, to leaving our wedding on Friday night, Kate executed everything BEYOND my wildest imagination. She went above and beyond just the title of 'wedding planner' - she checked on me the morning of my wedding at my hotel, she made sure everyone was where they needed to be, she even drove me to my first look. She made sure I was eating and staying hydrated at the reception, she helped me change my dresses, she even came to my Airbnb the week leading up to the wedding to learn how to bustle my dress and more. The Coordination Company made this experience all that wedding planning should be and more. We will never be able to express our deepest appreciation for Kate and her team for giving us a night we will never forget!
